McCuaig Insurance Limited has its roots firmly established in Milton, serving the community for over 90 years from the town’s historic downtown core. In 1912, the doors first opened as Tom Ramshaw Insurance, with the company operating under the leadership of its founder for 45 years. In 1957, Robert McCuaig, a seasoned insurance professional, moved to Milton and bought the Main Street business. He was eager to strike out on his own with the extensive experience he had gained working for a large insurance company in Toronto.
The McCuaig family settled in Milton to live and work in the community. The family-owned business of McCuaig Insurance continues to be nurtured by three generations, starting with grandfather Robert McCuaig, to our present-day partnership of father Peter McCuaig and daughter Melissa.
Long-term employees, with as many as 30 years of service, are an extended part of this insurance family. Today, our team of insurance professionals continues our strong commitment to taking care of insurance needs in the Milton community.
